Lake Hayes Apartments Residential - Lake Hayes
"Triple Star have recently completed constructing three quality apartments for the Lake Haze JV.
As the Owner’s Representative, I have been dealing directly with the Company’s key personnel for the past three years.
Triple Star have acted as both Project Managers and Builders and have as such been responsible for coordinating the Clients, Design Team, Independent Quantity Surveyor and their building team.
Triple Star were proactive in delivering a highly specified and quality product on an agreed timeline and were cooperative with value engineering to ensure a competitive fiscal outcome.
I would use the Company again".
Stephen Fisher Owners Representative, Lake Haze JV
This project involved the management and construction of three high-end apartments located on a prominent site on Lake Hayes. Each of the three apartments are single level and contain either three or four bedrooms with a generous outdoor terraced area. The size of the apartments vary between 350m2 - 400m2.
This development also includes an underground carpark and service and storage area, comprising a further 335m2.
Triple Star were actively involved in this project from the early planning stages and was responsible for overseeing design and consultant management in order to obtain both resource and building consents (staged). Significant earthworks, sediment control measures and fencing were also undertaken to prepare the site for building.
The design of this building comprises three flat roof planes that step down the site from east to west and towards Lake Hayes. Landscaped terraced roofs (a combination of sedum, ballast, planters and feature boulders), large off the form concrete chimneys and lineal sections of stacked natural stone cladding further characterise this build.
This building project incorporated a number of innovative building technologies including the water proofing system and significant tanking requirements for large scale flat roof planes many of which are green rooves.
One of the key challenges of this project was managing the logistics and cranage required for such a large building within a small and rocky site fronting Lake Hayes.
